This marks the start of a new year, Nisan/Aviv/Abib. I’m very thankful to YHWH for the past month and year, and I really appreciate even the smallest things Abba has been helping me with to the greater things too! All Glory to God, He is a good Father, He is so merciful and wonderful. Let us EXALT and PRAISE Him π€π€β€β€πππ.
I am really looking forward to Passover, Unleavened bread and the feast of First fruits this month. π πππ
The new moon is not commanded to be observed, however it does mark the beginning of months and helps us determine the biblical feast days. We are however commanded to blow trumpets to signal the beginning of a new month.
Numbers 10-10 : 10 “And in the days of your gladness, and in your feasts, and in your new moons, ye shall sound with the trumpets at your whole-burnt-offerings, and at the sacrifices of your peace-offerings; and there shall be a memorial for you before your God: I [am] the Lord your God.β
Psalm 81- 3 to 4: 3Β Blow the trumpet at the new moon, in the glorious day of your feast.Β 4Β For [this] is an ordinance for Israel, and a statute of the God of Jacob.β
Isaiah 66:23 KJV β And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
Ezekiel 46:1 KJV β Thus saith the Lord GOD; The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the sabbath it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened.
May you have a blessed day πππ
