How to observe Feast of Trumpets as a Christian

Hi All. Hope you are all having a blessed Sabbath and had a blessed week.

As we get closer to the biblical fall/spring feasts depending on where you are located, I will be posting more on how to observe these feasts as Christians and if you are new to observing the feast days, it’s purpose and giving you the bible scriptures that indicate this.

I love celebrating Yahweh’s feast days, and I remember early in 2020, when I heard the Lord Jesus Christ tell me in my spirit, ” Mark your calendar , I want you to celebrate the feast days” ~ I started with Passover and I have continued to grow and learn and this has helped my walk tremendously.

The feast of trumpets and the next fall feasts that follow are not yet fulfilled, so we celebrate these feasts in anticipation and excitement of Yeshua Messiah / Lord Jesus Christ returning to fulfill these.

The Feast of trumpets symbolises the upcoming rapture/ catching away of the saints of God.

Please have a look at the slides I have prepared on how to observe this feast , which is coming up on the 26th September at Sundown to the 27th September Sundown, depending on where you are situated and how you observe the new moon. For some this feast will start on the 25th September at sundown.

The Feast of Trumpets is the start of the month of Tishrei or the 7th month in the bible. I pray these slides help and bless you to understand more about this feast. Also if you are starting out to celebrate these feasts , don’t be too hard on yourself. If you were not able to take leave , I encourage you to still celebrate. Yahweh appreciates all our efforts. Shalom ! πŸ€—πŸ™β€

Happy New Moon – Sivan

Happy Rosh Chodesh!! Happy New Moon !! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸ€—β€πŸ™

Today, at sunset marks the start of the third month in Hebrew calendar called Sivan. Depending on where you are situated the new moon may be observed from the 30th to 31st of May. β€πŸ™ 🎊

Interesting facts about the month of Sivan

  1. In the Torah , it is mentioned simply as the the third month , see Exodus 19:1
  2. The name Sivan is mentioned once in the bible in the book of Esther , see Esther 8:9
  3. On the third day of the month the LORD instructed Moses to “set a boundary”~ (hagbalah) for the people in the preparation for the coming revelation to be given 3 days later, which was the giving of the Torah. See Exodus 19: 9-15
  4. The first five days of the month of Sivan anticipate the day that the Torah was revealed to Israel at Sinai, namely on the 6th of Sivan which was at that time exactly 7 weeks after the Exodus from Egypt. I do not believe its a fixed day as some do,  but rather that we always count from the Sabbath of first fruits until the 49th day.
  5. Most importantly this month commemorates the giving of the Holy Spirit/Ruach Ha-kodesh to the followers in Jesus/Yeshua after His ascension to Heaven πŸ˜ŠπŸŽ‰πŸ™πŸŽ‰
Numbers 10-10 : 10 "And in the days of your gladness, and in your feasts, and in your new moons, ye shall sound with the trumpets at your whole-burnt-offerings, and at the sacrifices of your peace-offerings; and there shall be a memorial for you before your God: I [am] the Lord your God.”
Psalm 81- 3 to 4: 3Β Blow the trumpet at the new moon, in the glorious day of your feast.Β 4Β For [this] is an ordinance for Israel, and a statute of the God of Jacob.”

The Purpose of the New Moon

  • πŸ™ Appreciate and thank God for what He is doing in your life
  • ➑️ Repentance
  • ❀ Receive a word from the Lord
  • πŸ™Œ Worship God
  • πŸŽ‰ Have a feast

The commandment to sanctify the new moon of Sivan reveals our responsibility to sanctify (i.e. observe) biblical time in general. This implies that when we observe the month that the Torah was revealed to Israel , we are infact acknowledging that time itself is rooted in the biblical calendar with its divinely inspired cycle of holy days and feasts (i.e. the moedim).

May you have a blessed new moon πŸ€—πŸ™!

Happy New Moon /Rosh Chodesh Iyyar

Happy Rosh ChodeshπŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰!! Happy New Moon! This marks the start of the second Hebrew month of Iyyar or Iyar.

Depending on where you are in the world and how you choose to observe, the days vary from 30th April to 2nd May.

I’m very thankful to YHWH for the past month, I had some hard lessons this month , but thankful for what YHWH has been teaching me and showing me. Even though tough times are ahead for the Body of Christ/Messiah , I have faith that God/Elohim will deliver us out of it all. All Glory to God, He is a good Father, He is so merciful and wonderful. Let us EXALT and PRAISE Him πŸ€—πŸ€—β€β€πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™.

Today is also day 16 of #countingtheomer. I am also looking forward to what YHWH is doing in this season πŸ™ πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

The new moon is not commanded to be observed, however it does mark the beginning of months and helps us determine the biblical feast days. We are however commanded to blow trumpets to signal the beginning of a new month.

Numbers 10-10 : 10 “And in the days of your gladness, and in your feasts, and in your new moons, ye shall sound with the trumpets at your whole-burnt-offerings, and at the sacrifices of your peace-offerings; and there shall be a memorial for you before your God: I [am] the Lord your God.”

Psalm 81- 3 to 4: 3Β Blow the trumpet at the new moon, in the glorious day of your feast.Β 4Β For [this] is an ordinance for Israel, and a statute of the God of Jacob.”

Isaiah 66:23 KJV β€” And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

Ezekiel 46:1 KJV β€” Thus saith the Lord GOD; The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the sabbath it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened.

The purpose of the new moon is to :
πŸŽ‰ Appreciate and thank God for what He is doing in your life
➑️ Repentance
❀ Receive a word from the Lord
πŸ™Worship God
πŸŽ‰ Have a feast

Blessings to you on this new moon ! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

The Significance of the Feast of Unleavened Bread for Believers in Lord Jesus Christ

Hi all , I trust you are all having a blessed Passover πŸ™‚πŸ™ I have prepared this presentation below as a guideline to observing the feast. I pray that this blesses you ❀❀

Leaven or yeast is a symbol of sin. Unleavened bread has no leaven to puff it up, thus it’s flat. We see that the next step in God’s plan or fulfilling of this feast is to remove sin from our lives. Sin is like leaven , it makes us proud and puffs us up. The flat bread symbolises being humble.

For me the other significance is that I also remove that which hinders my walk with God, e.g. getting rid of incorrect beliefs, habits etc. And reflecting on that. Getting rid of things I have come to learn through my deliverance journey like physical things that can hinder my walk which include cursed objects. Recently, I made a post on some of the symbols I learnt were infact satanic through a documentary with John Todd.

I do believe that sometimes and given how things are set up in the world, you may be working on a Sabbath etc, you may not be able to physically remove all the leaven from your house, or you live in a house where not everyone observes the feasts. I would try to ensure my room at least has no leaven.πŸ™ However , I do believe that our Heavenly Father sees and acknowledges all our efforts and that we should try our best to keep the feasts. β€πŸ™

May you have a blessed feast of Unleavened bread πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰!!
